Smarter AI — Less Waste

Prepare your files for Claude AI in seconds

When Claude receives Office files (.docx, .xlsx, .pptx), it spends a significant portion of its processing budget just converting the binary format — before it can even start helping you. This tool does that conversion step for you, so Claude can focus entirely on your actual request.

Claude gets more context

Skipping the conversion step means more of Claude's attention goes to understanding your actual content and giving better answers.

Faster, cheaper responses

Token usage drops significantly when Claude receives plain text or CSV instead of a binary Office file it has to decode first.

Works with any Claude plan

This approach works whether you're on Claude.ai, Claude Enterprise, or using Claude through our internal tools.

PowerPoint images cannot be extracted in the browser. If your slides are heavily visual — diagrams, screenshots, infographics — the converted text file will be missing that content. In that case, upload the original .pptx directly to Claude, but be aware each embedded image can cost 1,000–2,000 tokens before Claude reads a single word of your prompt.

Your files never leave your computer. All conversion happens directly in your browser using local processing — no file is uploaded to any server, cloud service, or third party. Once you close this tab, nothing is retained. This tool is completely private.
